ARIANE'S THREAD

ROMANTIC COMEDY - 90'

Ariane is a lively young woman who works in a travel agency specialised in love trips. One night, she receives a call for an anonymous male voice. Fascinated by the mysterious man on the phone, she falls in love with him. So does the voice who calls Ariane everyday. They start a passionate phone relationship.
But soon, Ariane starts feeling frustrated : she wants to see him for real. The voice refuses. With the help of her bestfriend and colleague Dolorès, she tries to discover who her mysterious lover really is. Can he be Prosper, an employee of the agency, who seems interested in nothing but his bicycle? Or Rémi Bélère, a daily soap actor who goes to the same gym club ?
Insisting on meeting up, the voice eventually accepts. And Ariane realises the fantasy doesn’t match with the reality. Her mysterious lover is a young man named Adrien who is seated in a wheelchair. Ariane can’t cope and runs away. But love runs faster. And Ariane soon understands he’s the one for her.
